‘But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son’
Every celebration of Christmas is a pointer that Jesus is coming soon. At the first Christmas, angels obediently proclaimed His arrival.
Our hearts burned with excitement and a sense of privilege that the Lord would call us to commit our lives to this endeavor. Thank you for your encouragement, financial support and your faithfulness in praying for us and with us.
I asked God several time this year:
- upon all places in the world, why coming back to this country again?
- Upon different places in this country, why this region – where there is no single church or Christian. In fact, been a Christian is a crime. Oppressed and mistreated but
is there not a cause?
As we are watching events unfold in the world, it’s obvious that time is short. We’re running out of time to finish the task.
People in any general audience at any moment in time are at different stages in their spiritual journey. Looking at the state of the Gospel in the Gambia, our media this year focused on Antagonist and Indifferent
Our digital skills have proven to be powerful tools for missions. We take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your partnership, support, encouragement, prayers and for standing with us. Your support allows us to create media, proclaim the Good News and empower Jesus followers around the world.
Media ministries are ever more crucial in reaching uttermost part of the earth – the possibilities are endless: Internet as a tool for evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, worship and training is limited only by the creativity and commitment of Christian. Our hearts are overwhelmed as we reflect on God has done this year:
- We produced 3 Animation storytelling in Mandinka language this year, 1 in Wolof and Fula languages
- 3 Animation for Kids in Mandinka, 2 in Wolof and 2 in Fula languages.
- 6 Bible stories in Mandinka, 3 in Wolof and 4 in Fula languages 1 in English.
- We completed 2 media translations in Mandinka
- Approximately, we reached 2 million people through our social platforms this year.
- 896,086 unique viewers from the Gambia,
- 2,752 comments
- 5,476 people re-share our video
- 99, 965 likes
- over 2000 direct messages on WhatsApp
- Several audio messages in local languages
- 8 media training online this year.
- We conducted training in 3 churches in the Gambia this year.
- And equip several youths with digital skills.
- We produced 1 indigenous short film in Wolof language this year.
- Through your support, we bought the printer this year – Xerox workcenter 7225.
We humbly present some of our needs before you, urging you to bring them before God in prayer:
- Accommodation:
Getting our own accommodation is very urgent and crucial. The easiest way to eject Christian out of the community is to refuse to rent house to them. This is our 3rd house here, and we already received quit notice.
Pray for provision of $15,000 to build Mission house .
