Around 6 PM one evening, I received a call. “Is this Pastor Amos?” inquired the caller. “Yes, it is,” I replied.
Pastor Samuel from Memmeh gave me your number, I am standing opposite the mosque on the highway here in Kerewan, can you come and meet me? He asked.
I hurried to his location, that was how I met Cesar, a missionary from Brazil. He was on transit, preaching and distributing gospel resources to missionaries.
He handed me SD cards filled with resources in Gambian languages. When I opened the SD card, I discovered an audio version of the Old Testament in the Mandinka language. Two weeks later, we reproduced Genesis chapter 1 into a visual format.
The reason is because majority of people in today’s world communicate, study, share information and learn faster via video on their smartphones. In addition to being very engaging, video evoke emotional responses.
As of the time of this publication, 6,300 Mandinkas have viewed and listened to the creation account for the first time in their entire life {on our TikTok channel with 1003 engagements}
