We are deeply grateful to everyone whom God has been using to support, encourage, and pray for us. Your partnership is helping us bring the Gospel to communities where many people have little or no opportunity to encounter a Christian witness.
A Vast Mission Field Before Us
Baddibu districts of North Bank Region of The Gambia remains one of the greatest opportunities for Gospel outreach. In Lower Baddibu, there are 25 villages with an estimated population of over 21,000 people. Within these communities are about 123 mosques and nearly 100 Arabic schools, with some villages hosting as many as four different Arabic schools.
In Central Baddibu, there are 33 villages with a population of over 21,000 people. The area contains about 125 mosques and more than 130 Arabic schools, including several boarding schools that attract students from various communities.
Across both districts, there is currently only one missionary actively serving the entire area. This means that countless children and young people are growing up without ever meeting a Christian personally. Many may spend their entire childhood without meeting a Christian or hearing the Gospel. The need for Christian workers and missionary is enormous.
The Impact of Media Ministry
We thank God for the opportunities He has provided through media ministry:
- Video productions
- Social media outreach
- Bible-based animations, and
- Gospel content in local languages.
We are reaching places that we may never physically visit. By God’s grace, our media ministry is currently reaching more than 1.5 million people online every year.
The Need to Strengthen Ground Missions
As we celebrate the impact of media outreach, we are increasingly convinced that online ministry must be accompanied by a stronger physical presence on the ground.
